This is the process for a proposal from submission to publication:
Submitted proposals will be assigned a liason selected by the Editorial Board. The liasion will serve as primary contact with the author and communicate reviews from the Board members. Publications deemed not appropriate for NCSPOD publications after the intital review will receive communication from the liasion within seven days of submission.
After an initial quick review, the liasion will determine if the publication reflects the interests of, and will benefit, NCSPOD members. Depending on the content specialization, two Editorial Board members will be solicited to peer review the manuscript. The reviewers will have 4 weeks to respond to the liasion.
Once a manuscript is in final draft stage, it will be distributed to the entire Editorial Board for a quick seven-day review and feedback. After final edit and approval by the Editorial Board and the Author, the VP publications will publish the material to the website for members.
All publications submitted to NCSPOD shall undergo an editorial review with the exception of the Network Newsletter.
